Everybody thinks Boston is full of red sox fans, and Boston Baked beans. . . but no. We r Poppin! For one, I must say if you come to Boston, you can have the best shopping experience you have had in your sweet little life. Bodega for instance. . . It amazed me that some poeple have heard of this store but had no idea it was located in Boston. Bodega is a posh store that sells limited edition sneakers ranging in price from $80 to $2000. Bodega's suppliers belong to a subculture that communicates through word-of-mouth, Internet sites, specialty magazines, and sneaker parties. Sneakerheads -- a few are willing to call themselves addicts -- collect limited edition (read expensive) lines of sneakers, getting up at the crack of dawn or camping out overnight to get the latest Air Jordan retro or Nike SB. The culture is so ardent that the owners of Bodega didn't bother to put a sign on the front of the store. Word spreads, and the collectors follow. Bodega is your neighborhood store take a look!




This is the secret entrance is behind the Snapple machine( which you have to know the password to enter.. .) And then you come into sneaker heaven. . .







The concept of this store is amazing, and Im proud to be a Bostonian dammit! :)
