This past weekend I was in DC for a party, but I made my way to the National Museum of African Art. I had heard about it , but never had a chance to go. This time around I was fortunate enough to attend. I've always been a fan of museums, art, exhibitions and such, but I was really impressed. WHile there I was introduced to to African artists by the names of Aime Mpane and Antonion Ole. Their artwork was shown in the same room and I immediately became a fan of both. My favorite from Aime is the naked matchstick man---- made from matchsticks. DOPE! Antonio won me over with his town hall themed piece. Both men are truly talented geniuses. . . Heres some of their work!
